Kees toured at a young age in Israel, the Benelux and United States. Performances with Benny Golson, John Engels, Quentin Bryan Angus and Owen Hart Jr..
Master of Music
Kees holds a ‘Master of Music’ degree as an alumnus of the Prince Claus Conservatory (Groningen), Purchase College (New York) and Codarts (Rotterdam). Kees studied in New York City with Eric Alexander, Jimmy Halperin, Steve Wilson and John Abercrombie. Beside this, Krabben also attended masterclasses with Chris Potter, James Moody, Dick Oatts, Miguel Zenon, Sam Newsome, David Liebman, Jerry Bergonzi and Branford Marsalis.
Improvisation
Kees also works as a composer and arranger. Mostly for the Kees Krabben Quartet. Here you can listen.
