Since 2000 Erwin has been a member of the Netherlands Ballet Orchestra, which became part of the Holland Symfonia in 2002, and has frequently performed with other orchestras and ensembles such as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra. He often performs also as a soloist, both in the Netherlands and abroad.
In addition to these activities, Erwin gives master classes, conducts and teaches at Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
Erwin received his musical training at the Amsterdam Sweelinck Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
